HORECA mode

The Restaurant edition of AuraPOS activates full HORECA mode: visual floor plan, table management, kitchen tickets on dedicated printers, provisional bill (Pro Forma), and service workflow.

Availability

Included in Restaurant and Restaurant Group editions. Auto-activated when TypeCommerce = HORECA in Settings.

Visual floor plan editor

Module Floor plan: drag-and-drop interface to model your establishment.

• Multi-room: main dining + terrace + private salon, each with its own plan
• Customizable tables: shape, size, color, number of covers
• Decorative elements: walls, windows, bar, cloakroom, plant (visual only)
• 10 px snap grid
• Zoom + pan

Tables with persistent cart

Each table has its running cart persisted in DB. Servers open a table, add products, can close the register and return 30 min later — the cart is still there.

Table statuses (colors on plan)

• Free (gray)
• Open (blue): a server has started a command
• Blocked (orange): pre-bill printed, awaiting payment
• Reserved (blue corner badge)

• Open + Add product + Transfer + Split bill + Pre-bill + Pay

Kitchen tickets

Configure up to 6 thermal kitchen printers (Settings → Kitchen printers):

• Each with name (Bar, Hot kitchen, Cold kitchen, Wash, Pastry) and ESC/POS IP
• Routing per product family: e.g. family "Beers" → Bar
• Override per product: a specific product can override its family

Send-to-kitchen workflow

1. Server takes the command
2. Click "Send kitchen" → waiting lines move to LignesEnvoyees
3. Kitchen printers receive their lines according to routing
4. Smart merging: 3 cokes = 1 line "3× Coke"
5. Modifiers and notes printed ONLY on kitchen side
6. If SCE/FDM active: signOrder sent to fiscal black box

Modifiers and notes per line

Configure per product a catalog of modifiers (e.g. steak → "Rare / Medium / Well done").

When adding to cart:

• Auto-opened touch dialog if modifiers configured
• Free text note field
• Everything printed on kitchen ticket, invisible on customer bill

Pre-bill (Pro Forma)

Before payment, server prints the provisional bill:

• Header "PRO FORMA — This is not a fiscal note"
• Detail of lines + total
• Signed via signPreBill FDM if active
• Printable multiple times

Multi-mode payment

Cashier can split payment in multiple modes: Cash + change (legal rounding), Bancontact, Visa/Mastercard, Bank transfer, Payconiq QR, Loyalty cashback.

Service via server tablet

The aurapos-pad application (Tauri 2 Android) lets servers take orders directly in the dining room. See Server tablet.

Belgian fiscal compliance (SCE/FDM)

The Restaurant edition includes the SCE/FDM module (Fiscal Black Box):

• Simulated mode activatable to test without physical hardware
• Signing of all events
• Event counter auto-incremented, kept 7 years
• Z-ticket daily (mandatory closing)

⚠️ Real FDM certification currently in progress. Restaurant commercial version will be available for purchase upon completion.

Integrated reservations

The Reservations module integrates natively:

• Badge on tables (floor plan) showing next reservation
• Auto-switch Confirmed → Arrived on table opening
• Ticket ↔ Reservation link at payment (Status = Completed)
• Daily planning with rotation (double seating)
