Introduction to AuraPOS

AuraPOS is a Windows point-of-sale (POS) software designed for retailers in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. It runs in single-register mode (one register, local SQLite database) or multi-register mode (multiple registers sharing a PostgreSQL server).

Who AuraPOS is for

  • Small retail shops: bakeries, grocers, neighborhood stores
  • Restaurants & hospitality: fast checkout, daily Z report
  • Multi-register stores: several registers synced in real time

What AuraPOS does

  • Process sales with customizable payment methods (cash, Bancontact, Visa, etc.)
  • Print thermal receipts (ESC/POS over USB or IP)
  • Generate A4 invoices compliant with Belgian standards
  • Manage a product catalog with photos, barcodes, multi-pricing (up to 4 tiers)
  • Track customers with pricing profile and history
  • Close the day with an automatic Z report
  • Back up data automatically (daily + weekly)
  • Check for updates automatically via GitHub
