Promotions module

AuraPOS includes a complete promotions module with 5 configurable rule types and a cumulation / exclusion engine. Ideal for seasonal campaigns, Happy Hour, lunch packs, or partner codes.

Availability

Included in Boutique, Studio, Restaurant, Group, and Restaurant Group editions. Not available in Express.

The 5 promotion types

1. Happy Hour

Automatic discount applied at defined time slots, per weekday.

  • Target: entire ticket, family, product, fiscal category
  • Value: percentage or fixed amount
  • Time slots: configurable (e.g. 4pm-6pm Mon-Fri)
  • Days bitmask: maximum flexibility

2. Quantity (3+1, 2nd at -50%)

Rewards bulk purchase of a product.

  • N bought + M free (e.g. 3 cokes = 4th free)
  • N bought + 2nd at -X% (e.g. 2 t-shirts = -50% on 2nd)

3. Promo code

Code enterable at register, time-limited.

  • Unique code or multi-use
  • Global limit + per-customer limit
  • Validity period: start + end date

4. Pack / Combo

N products at fixed price (e.g. Lunch menu €12.90).

5. Cart threshold

Discount triggered above a certain amount.

  • Single threshold (-10% from €50) or multi-tier (€50 → -10%, €100 → -15%)

Cumulation and exclusion

Each promo has 2 flags:

  • Cumulable: can stack with other promos
  • CumulableFidelite: can stack with loyalty reward

Priority (0-100, default 50): higher value = applied first.

Usage limits

  • Global limit: max N uses total
  • Per-customer limit
  • Once per day

Segments (advanced targeting)

  • Required loyalty tier
  • Required inactivity (win-back)
  • Birthday only

Multi-location centralization (Group / Restaurant Group)

With Group edition, create promotions once in the web backend mon.aurapos.be, and they auto-deploy to all locations at next sync (max 5 min).
